And Kevin Martin is any better?

His defense is pretty suspect but this guy is an all around scorer, most of whom do not play much defense perfect example being Kevin Martin.

I think a lot of you would be lying to yourselves saying that you wouldn't want Melo on this team, chemistry schmemistry. The guy is a legit All Star and playmaker someone we've been looking for, for years now.

The Nuggets would be stupid to accept the [ariza+ batteir or bud+ 2012 first round picks] trade k money threw out there.

This would be something that would possibly get it done.

Kevin Martin + Aaron Brooks + Jordan Hill + Chase Budinger + 2011 Rockets pick + 2013 Knicks pick

Anything less than that would be ridiculous to even offer.

    _______________

My bad I'm thinking of this year. Fixed.

That's because there aren't any worth a damn in the league right now. When Pau Gasol is considered a "Dominant" post then the league is hurting. Olajuwon, a young Shaq, or even Robinson would terrorize Gasol. Dwight Howard is also overrated.

    Pass!

Steve Nash has made Amare better then he would have been on another team. He plays no defense and tends to disappear in the crunch time.

see players such as: Quinton Richardson, Shawn Marion, Raja Bell, Boris Diaw, etc.

I see Amare as i see the players listed above... All of those players have flopped since they've either been traded or left through free agency. Amare doesnt possess the skill set that is worthy of a max contract.

If we can get Steve Nash and Amare, without having to give up Brooks or Kevin Martin, I'd go for it....otherwise...DO NOT WANT!

Dirk is better than Bosh, no doubt...but he is not coming......and most of you would have no problem cheering for him as those wide open 3 balls start raining through the Toybox nets.

Dirk is not better than Chris Bosh.... Dirk has had talent laden teams around him so I don't want to hear about Dirks success vs failure.

Bosh is younger, a WAY better defender and better in the post. I will say that are equal mid range wise with Dirk being a better ball handler, more able to drive to the rim and with a better shooting range.

    Ronnie Brewer anyone?

I think he would be good backup at the 2 and 3. What do you guys think?

    @ChrisVernonShow

Grizzlies will not re-sign Ronnie Brewer, Grizz GM Chris Wallace just said he will become unrestricted FA tonight

He's still young..very athletic and a very good defender. He would be a good fit as a backup SG.

    It's a bird, no it's a plane, no it's Ronnie Brewer .... a shooting guard that can't shoot.

I like him better than Ariza, honestly. But then, I suppose I like most players better than Ariza...

Do we have the MLE? I think he would be a great bargain at that price, but I'm not really sure what kind of market value he has.

Why did the Grizz trade a first rounder for him at the deadline if they weren't going to resign him? I thought he was kind of "insurance" for Rudy Gay leaving. I take this to mean that the Grizz are planning to keep Rudy.
