This isn't the only place you can go to win a championship, but it IS the only place you can go to be the best player on a championship team.

This is your chance to cement your legacy. Your accomplishments in the next few years will outlive you. Please think about what that means, not just to tag along for the ride, but to actually LEAD your team to the Promised Land. No team gives you a better chance to fulfill your dream than the Rockets do.

We have the best supporting cast, and we have the highest quality people in Yao and Kevin Martin who would otherwise be superstars if they were not so selfless. Aside from representing a great city, the Rockets also now carry with them the hopes of over a billion on the other side of the ocean.

In short, the triumphant arch has already reached its final stage in construction--we're only missing the keystone.

Someone just called 790 and said that he recently saw bosh with marcus camby in pearland and thought that bosh might have a home here already. not sure how reliable this is, but interesting nonetheless. i know that camby did just build a huge house there (live in pearland myself) so it's possible bosh was just visiting.

 

So that fan caravan drove all the way to Arkansas only to loop back to Pearland?

That would be funny.

 

Another thing that not many people have mentioned:

Chris, we know you care about making the all star game, and getting your name out there...as evident by your youtube video campaigning for our votes two years ago. If you sign with Houston, you are guaranteed a spot on the Western All Star team until the day you leave the team or when Yao leaves, whichever comes first.

 

Chris Bosh we have the deal of a lifetime for you. If you sign with the Rockets, every single Rockets fan in the world will buy a copy of your new movie First Ink. You can consider it as a signing bonus if you will. Do you realize how many Rockets fans there are in the world? Well, plenty of non Rockets do have homes in Pearland so it he could be just one of those guys. Good to hear nonetheless.

Another thing is? When did Miami become this huge national scene that pays more than larger cities like Houston in endorsements? Miami is not an international player in anything except drugs. People dont go to Miami to make money over places like Houston and Dallas or Chicago. Now all of the sudden its a hot spot because Wade is there? I mean financially its not a hot spot. You cant make more money there than here. You arent gonna get a sign and trade because they have next to nothing in assets. You cant get a full contract and you wont have more endorsement deals than Wade who is the main guy there and already gets all of the ones there are. Also Wade is known internationally already but it would be hard to sell anyone else on that if you dont have a Yao Ming and Chinese market or large population like Houston has. It just doesnt make sense how Miami all of the sudden is a big market and Houston isnt. None whatsoever. Thats all story and hype to get these guys together and shortchange Bosh because thats what the media wants as a story.

Imagine an NBA finals dream scenario for Stern and the NBA or players involved for that matter? It has Chicago Bulls and Lebron Vs Bosh and Yao for the Rockets. You get that huge Chicago and east coast and international fan base of the Bulls against the Rockets with the Chinese viewers in the largest most watched Finals event ever. Maybe even in the history of all sports including the Super Bowls for each and every game? That's the NBA's dream scenario. Yao and The Rockets vs a big market team with all of China watching.

 

I wonder if Daryl Morey showed Bosh the website? I am sure he knew about it
