    Touche.....TriCkz. Touche.

I guess i was leaning more towards his quickness in his playmaking ability for others. and i feel he needs running big men to do that. And with Yao/okafor and most of our long contracts being with older players, i just dont think its a smart move, IMO.

This would be a bad trade and it would hold up our team for years. Plus, this team wouldn't even be contenders. Giving up Bud, Hill and our Knicks picks for Al Jeff would be disastrous. I like Big Al and all but I rather keep Hill, C-Bud and our picks instead and have Scola play the 4.

If we miss on all free agent targets, let's hope new york does too. In this case, I think we:

    resign scola and lowry

Go to battle with a familiar looking lineup:

    Brooks/Lowry
    Martin/Taylor
    Ariza/Budinger/Battier
    Scola/Patterson/Jeffries
    Yao/Hill/Hayes

Watch our young guys get better/more valuable, yao return to form, and new york suck enough to make their picks valuable. By midseason we will be squarely in the middle of the playoff hunt. That's when we package Battier and Jeffries for a big star on a team looking to cut salary, and throw in the draft picks, and maybe one of our young guys if necessary. Of course battier will be bought out and return back to the rockets just in time to be a leader in the locker room. Players to keep an eye on in case their team is forced to make a trade:

    Granger
    Al Jefferson
    Deron Williams
    Chris Paul
    Josh Smith

That last player, whoever it is, will be enough to put us over the top. Obviously this plan is very conservative and optimistic about the development of our young guys as well as yao's heath.

I have a feeling the Rockets are going to get somebody through a sign and trade.

Can some one tell me y people think AB is not a playmaker? And that we need a really good passer? Even though he has improved by 4.2 average since a rookie and can only get better. I predict he will average 7 next year which is better then mostly all other pg. So I say keep ab and just get a back up center in were gud!

And it's obvious that bosh ain't coming so I say maybe aim for David lee. I really like the kid. He is very young and a proven allstar

The Heat are beyond desperate to move Beasley so why not....

    Rox get Al Jefferson/Ricky Rubio

    Heat get David Andersen

T-Wolves get Battier, Taylor, Beasley and picks in 2011 and 2012.

The Heat gets their valued cap space

T-Wolves get a young prospect in Beasley, veteran in Battier and potential in Taylor along with two potential lotto picks.

Rox get your big man and stud pg in Rubio for 2011.

How about Kyle Korver? I know we don't like any Jazz players, but he could bring some deadly 3-pt shooting of the bench. Dude shot 53% from behind the arc last season and has a career 41% from long range.
