all of your organs are on the opposite side. Interesting. So I wonder if he sees the game backwards. It has to effect his game somehow.
Agreed. Foye is more versatile than JT (and I am a JT fan) and would be a quality backup, capable of starting at 2 positions. But the kicker is his work ethic and willingness to play tough defense at either guard position. This is an acquisition that just screams Morey, unlike all the JJ rumors.
We may be looking at Foye as part of a bigger makeover. If we are going after JJ/Amare combo, that is likely going to leave us short on bench wings as it will probably cost us Ariza as well as Bud and KMart.
i'd invite him to camp. no doubt. he could end up playing some serious backup minutes as a rocket next season if a huge trade goes down.
I don't see it happening. The Rockets are already stacked at SG/SF with only 96 minutes to split among Ariza, Battier, Martin, Budinger, and Taylor. Adelman likes to use Brooks as SG with Lowry on the floor at the same time. That's 6 players between those spots. 96 minutes/6 players=16 minutes each.
This guy doesn't seem like a Morey guy to me. Not very efficient and doesn't play good D. He can score though, maybe he can be a Von Wafer type.
Makes perfect sense, Foye seems like he has always played behind someone and never really been given a good shot. His value is down but not his upside. If we're moving AB and parts for Bosh or JJ or whoever Foye is a great and most likely cheap option.
I don't know about that. JT's effort against Kobe this season showed more defensive potential than I think Foye has demonstrated his entire NBA career.
If true, or better yet factual, it implies that DM the GM is looking for pieces to replenish roster after one (or more) SnT's.
I think Foye is little further along than Taylor, he is most likely a better player. There's something I like about his game.
Well, I'm all for democracy, but I think this might work out better: Martin 34 Foye 10 Ariza 26 Battier 14 Budinger 10 Taylor 2
