I knew him at Arizona and I still don't know how to spell his name. Jordan Hill loves Burger King too.

It won't matter how you spell it if we sign Bosh. The Raptors need more shooters and they will certainly ask for Bud and other stuff in return.

You spelled tight and ass too, didn't need to go to college for that one smart guy.

And I'm more like the guy that never went to college and still got more pune than you can dream of.

@topfive - you're right, I just liked that ending to the thread. Just voicing my angst against people that don't even know how to spell the names of their favorite team's players. Don't understand how that makes sense.

I guess people don't really care how stupid they look, America's fantastic education system. Ain't it da ****!

You nailed it right there. It's mind boggling, but people actually seem to be proud of being under-educated.

I've given up the fight to enlighten folks. It's still incredibly frustrating to read so many misused phrases and misspelled words. The WORST for me is the misuse of the word, "worse."

"Ryan Bowen is the worse offensive player ever."

Seriously, I think I see it misused more often than I see it used correctly!

This is something that you learn in freakin' elementary school!

Why is it, after 24 years, that some people still don't know how to spell 'peeve'?

Why do so many people on this board care about spelling of names? I'm a fairly good speller, but it doesn't make 1 difference to me whether someone spells someones name wrong...not like were sending invitations or anything here.

Yeah I know, that word I actually use less than the players on this board, the irony.

Ming is his first name in China, Yao is his last.

The moral I gather from the general sentiment in this thread: Life is about being dumb and easy, not learning and improving.

While you were so busy getting "pune" (whatever the hell THAT is), some of us were in college getting POON.

Why is it that when someone posts a message complaining about people's spelling or grammar skills, they always screw up some spelling or grammar? That must be an Internet law or something.

    *Also not really a word.
