Episode 1 Recap: Spoiler As Vince shoots an action movie directed by Nick Cassavetes, he is asked to perform a dangerous driving stunt. Eric and Ari intervene as they do not want him to perform the stunt. Now running a fledgling carservice business, Turtle is frustrated when an employee named Alex (Dania Ramirez ) causes problems for him, resulting in her quitting. Drama wants a job since his holding deal will expire in eight weeks, but finds out new shows are being made by the network, but not for him. After trying to be talked out of stunt by Ari and the guys not believing he can, Vince decides to do it. On set when performing the stunt, Vince crashes the car into the set, but emerges from the fiery wreck fine and ready to go again. "Vincent Chase must die." "Harsh, perhaps, but there it is, the only thing that could rouse "Entourage" from its comfortable, poolside loll and onto the necessary task of bringing its story in for an eventual landing." - Washington Post
"We've lost our Cliff Claven. Our George Costanza. Our Turtle...or Johnny Drama...or E. Man, that show is sloppy." -Abed
That was the lamest stunt I've ever seen. Did the car get off the ground 2 feet? The season is not off to a good start.
I thought it was ok except for the forced cameos. I saw Moneymaker playing poker with the director and Stefan from Top Chef serving Sloan.
According to my blog, this show sucks: http://petsaspeople.tumblr.com/post/734939789/entourage-tries-to-slip-you-a-roofie-this-weekend
According to everyone, this show sucks. The show had a vasectomy so long ago I can't remember when it was actually good.
The show is money...just having Ari on screen is good enough, and the random hot girls that show up. Stop whining people.
No one's whining because no one is asking why this show sucks. It simply has seen (much) better days.
Is the Vince stunt aftermath going anywhere? It looked like to me they were playing it as he obviously got shook up. I seriously thought he was going to fall on the ground and start convulsing or something. He said some things afterwards but he only seemed half there. Next episode...Vince has brain swelling and is checked into the hospital....where he and his pals have a party and get some nurses.
To be honest I think he's going to go through a personal change. The way he was like, if it wasn't good we can go again I think it showed he's become sort of introspective now. Throughout this season he'll have an internal struggle where he'll get distant with the crew. That's the only way they can make the show interesting.
