Not so much that everything will be cleared up by then, although that's certainly a possibility. But rather, so we don't hear 20 different stories from anonymous sources from 20 different camps all contradicting each other, because no one can official say anything without getting Stern's hammer.
I don't think guys will have made up their minds by July 1st, but will string it out for two weeks because they love having half the league fawn over them. LeBron will lap up having all eyes on him, just like Kobe did a few years back. Even Jordan loved to hold back his cards and take in all the media speculation. Favre's another great example. I'm guessing that Wade is the first big name to ink a deal (Miami). I think a ton of names are going to sign the day after LeBron does.
No, I can wait. I'll have to do close and a bunch of reports on June financials and start setting stuff up for July, and I still don't have my balance sheet report built. An extra week of June would be great.

I was thinknig that too. Cuz the official date/time is July 1 12:00 something EASTERN time. So that means 11:00 something for us on June 30.
