No, there is no possible way Germany can lose vs. Argentina.

I don't know, that's what I'm wondering. I assume it didn't but never caught a replay. I may have missd it.

I don't think they replayed that one. The Mexico goal was so close to that play, and they just kept playing the replay of the goal.

Regardless of the no-call, I think we all know who the better team is.

Fortunately, the reverse spell only works when BrooksBall does it...unprovoked .

If I was German coach, I would do the following: Take out Podolski and Khedira.

Left wing defender Badstuber, right wing defender Boateng. Central defenders as before, Friedrich and Mertesacker.

Aaaaand...put Lahm on Messi with the special project to shadow him all game long.

Also put in Kroos as the offensive midfielder on the left side.

Unfortunately, I don't see Jogi Loew doing all that. But I think if he wants to defend Messi without assigning someone especially to him - and this can only be Lahm - our defense will be eaten alive.

Exactly, don't like how Dos Santos is making a big deal out of it.

I have some hope going towards the next World Cup. Mexico did not look as bad as I thought they would have looked. We actually some good talent on this team, hopefully we have a have a better chance next world cup.

You guys have a good future man.

This was a good world cup for them. They get more experience and will only get better. I like Dos Santos a lot!

Another loss against Argentina. I hate Argentina's soccer team like I hate Utah Jazz. Ironically Argentina is my favorite basketball team.

It doesn't matter what Sepp Blatter does or says at this point.

If he doesn't add technology it's not like millions of people will just stop watching soccer or playing. FIFA will still make their money. It will just be the cause of more and more complaining.

    Haha! I like!

I will be cheering for Argentina though, I am a Barcelona and therefore a Messi fan. But my gut feeling is Germany wins 3-2 or something close to that.

    How so?

We won our group, they finished 2nd.

We went further in the world cup by losing in OT, they lost in regulation.

Who had the better world cup?

    ;)

I think brasil exports the most players to other national teams.

El Apache with a stellar second goal to finish off Mex. Damn cannon! Messi yet to score however you can't negate how much attention he receives when the ball is at his feet. This opens up the defense.

    Prediction
    Albiceleste over zee Germans
    Brasil over la roja

    iiiFuerza Brasil!!!

Actually, Mexico was not predicted to prevail against Arg while the US was supposed to beat Ghana. You can probably say the US was not happy about that.
