The linesman aside, anyone know why Joe Cole isn't starting?? I hope we get to see him early in the second half. He might just be the spark England needs off the bench.

Is Milner that much better than Cole? Or is there an injury I don't know about?

It is legendary (or better said infamous).

I hope England will come out aggressive, and use this moment to fuel their energy. Maybe this will change the English team around.

I agree with Rockets Pride, it is difficult for the linesman, he cannot be everywhere all the time, he had to be away from the goal to see if there would be offside. We need replay for the refs on these type of calls.

Swoly are you still against video replay for refs?

    Because
    a) Don Fabio is a stubborn git
    b) he refuses to play and players that are not fully fit hence the reason a previously injured Milner is playing over a previously injured Cole.

I want Joe Cole to start, JTerry wants Joe Cole to start, but what do we know.
(Although Milner played well in the last match so Fabio probably doesnt want to change things now).
    We'll see.

Didn't know you were English. In any case, you should get off your high horse. Lampard and Gerrard are not above diving. Just watch basically any game they've ever played in.

I really like the German team, very creative and offensive minded, but England got screwed. I hope England ties it up, so the team that deserves to win, wins. Ozil is awesome, his big eyes give him great field vision

I hope Argentina wins and Mexico gets screwed by a bad referees decision.

Wow, Muller practically walked in on goal. He made a little fake and the sea parted for him.

Plenty. England fans have this notion that their players don't dive but they absolutely do.

As I type, Rooney takes a big one...and on the free kick, so does Barry.

My research and memory are bad but I can only find evidence of two Stevie G dives in international level. Now for Liverpool, whateva, I hate the reds.
