Really? B/c Jordan wasnt in the league in '95? The magic didnt beat the bulls in the 95 playoffs?

Sure he was out of form but he was certainly in the league...

I'm betting Morey didn't expect Patterson to fall into his lap, none of us did. Once that happened nothing else BIG needed to be done. The Patterson pick was BIG.

You do realize that Jordan was in the league for Rockets second championship. You also realize the rockets swept an Orlando Magic team that beat Jordan's Bulls right? You call yourself a Rockets fan?

if LeBron wants to come to Houston the Cavs is more likely to ask for K-Mart than AB. K-Mart + Ariza + 1 Knicks' 1st pick makes more sense for both teams. I'm not a big BronBron fan but what I like this time is it actually increase the chance for us to acquire Bosh too and totally screw up the Knicks, priceless to see the reaction from Walsh & NY fans
    K-Mart + Ariza + Knicks' 2011 1st pick for LeBrone S&T
    Scola + Battier + Knicks' 2012 1st pick for Bosh S&T
    MLE for Mike Miller

    Yao Ming, Hill, Anderson
    C. Bosh, Patterson, Hayes
    LeBrone, Budinger, Jefferies
    M. Miller, Taylor
    Brooks, Lowry

it all starts with LeBrone believes it'll start a dynasty here in Houston... someone show him the proposal please ;)

if we get lebron, we cant give up brooks or martin....you need shooters around him. Give up Budinger, Hill or patterson, and pick(s), expirings...

Why would Cavs do this trade? One would think they could and/or should get more for LBJ. IMO

LeBron makes more sense than Bosh. If the rockets could land LeBron, it would be the best thing that happens to the rockets this decade.

If giving up AB and the other fillers was all it took to get LBJ, then you do that in a heartbeat.

You can't get emotionally attached to every player, I would be sad to see AB go, just like I was sad to see Landry go, heck I made a poster for him when he came back to Houston as a King. But no one on this roster should be untouchable. PG's are replaceable.

The big difference is that in Cleveland Le Bron's home town he was a performer!
If he came to Houston all he would be required to be is a basketball player!
He would learn to be discreet under the influence of Yao Ming. :p

This is Tom from TDS, by the way; I post on here every now and then but mostly just read. I agree that every GM in the league will try to acquire LeBron - they should. But when you say "best to concentrate on more realistic stuff... like Chris Bosh," I don't see where you're coming from. How is Bosh any more realistic than LeBron? Remember, it's about convincing the player to come here before the team. Bosh hasn't indicated that he'd want to come here any more than LeBron has.

Doesn't mean they didn't try. Patterson falling ended any reason to move up or down. The source I have, I'll admit, can only get me the simplest/broadest information about the Rockets. It's not like I'm a reporter - I just happen to know someone who knows someone.

There's about 30 houston fans in the world who would be unhappy with getting LeBron, they're all here.
