so true! Can't wait to follow the US players in Europe. This team is going to continue to get better. Hopefully 4 years from now, the talent level begins to get close to that of European teams.

Well this Cup was not a failure, but it was not a success either. Regardless, it was a huge golden opportunity lost by this team. We will never get a draw this favorable again (from the group stage on).

Seems like every time we made a mistake, we got scored on while every time the other team made a mistake we were not able to capitalize. Very frustrating, but thats the way it goes I guess.

    Ghana: 23M people
    USA: 307M people

We can't field a team able to beat a small African country?

Findley and Edu missed great chances to score. If the US finished as well as Ghana did, they would have won.

I'm really hoping we get the tourney in 2018, because were gonna suck it up in Brazil in 2014. Haha. For a second there I thought Ghana had a white dude, but it was bocanegra.

Maybe Ghana is our Detroit, and we will get our revenge in 2014.

Who's on the roster from this team that's gonna be there in brazil? Jozy and who else? I think Landon will be 32 by then.

I feel like we were thinking past Ghana. We had a straight shot to the promise land.. BRADLEY WHY!! he is going to be kicking himself for starting Clark and Findley.

    I hope England falls tomorrow.

The US had plenty of chances to finish this game in the second half. So much wasted opportunity. Or if they didn't play like crap in the first half, this game shouldn't have even gone to overtime.

****. I definitely cried at the end. I love USA it's going to be hard to get over this loss. I'm so upset. Then tomorrow I gotta watch Mexico go against the powerhouse of Argentina. Geez, this is not going to be a good weekend :(.

Jozy, Feilhaber, Bradley, Tim Howard, Stuart Holden. I'm sure there are more.

Exactly ... That is my point ... We had tons of chances and couldn't put any of them away, and they had marginal chances and put them in the back of the net. Props to them for doing that and they certainly deserve it, but man is it frustrating to watch as a fan of the US.

How many people in Ghana play soccer? How many people in the US play soccer? Those numbers will be A LOT closer.

LMAO I was thinking the same thing. I don't think players normally wear those jerseys. It must be cold.

    Wow ... just wow

I'm sure all the top athletes in Ghana are aiming to get into American Football, Basketball, Baseball, and sometimes Hockey too right?

Nope... Because as Cannonball said.... Americans in general could give a **** less about soccer. Perhaps if they were as passionate about it as say Basketball, Football or Baseball they might actually have a good team :)

I'm glad and relieved the US lost. It's like all these fake fans came out of the woodworks which eerily reminded me of Lakers fans/Yankees fans. Cheering for teams just cause they're doing well.
