    Hill or Patterson

If it came down to filler, Budinger and either PP or JH for some max level guy, who would you rather send?

I say Patterson, he is an unproven rookie and limited to the 3 or 4. If we trade for a guy like Bosh or Amare and then Resign Scola It would be better to have a guy like Hill that can play the backup 5 spot. DM has already hinted that they are grooming him to be a center, and a back up for Yao would be our most pertinent need at the moment.

    Im mixed.

If it was for someone like Amare, who is a bit of a headcase, I would choose Hill, because you would want as many chemistry guys as possible.

If its a guy like Bosh who is level headed, I would probably send PP, since Hill is probably going to be a better player.

Are we talking about TOR? They didn't draft PP so I think Hill makes more sense.

I believe Patterson to have more upside than Hill... I could be wrong, but at the moment I'd like to see what Patterson can bring to the table...

Keep Hill, because he's played actual NBA games, but I strongly suspect that Hill is who Toronto would want.

I would like to keep Hill, since Morey believes he can backup Yao.

Honestly, I'd like to see what Patterson brings to the table first.

Of course, right now, everyone's answer should be Hill, to get the maximum back, because we don't know if he will be better/worse than Hill.

We know what Hill can do, and so does every other team. Patterson is unknown.

Even though Patterson hasn't played in the NBA as yet, I think he is a slightly more accomplished overall player than Hill is. Hill is a better defender IMO and I like him, but he seems more raw to me.

Hill's hands aren't Cato like, but there aren't good. I think Patterson has better hands than him.

I'm not totally opposed to Bosh, but I'm not keen on him either. I do recognize the need to acquire a star as an eventual replacement for Yao or to complement him if he regains fitness.(I have my doubts about him getting healthy).

I would probably lean towards trading Hill instead of Patterson.

I agree with this, but I think Hill has more of an upside. I'd rather take the chance with a potential starter in a couple years than a bench/role player that I think PP will always be.

I would rather scola be traded. Dude is a major liability on defense. He hurts the team most of the time. And he's unathletic.

If I had to pick one (I want to keep them both), I would trade Hill. Patterson looks like a keeper.

I too feel that Hill has more upside, but I think the end result between the two of them may not be all that different on offense.

Defensively Hill is better, and Patterson has a longer way to go here which does at times make me lean towards wanting to keep Hill. Handwork is hard to change, but if Hill can stop bobbling the ball around, I might change my mind.

I would to see them improve, but I'm realistic in realizing that they might be needed as part of a trade for a star.

I feel like Patterson is going to be the next Juwon Howard, which could be a good thing.

I really don't know with Hill. Jordan has really impressed me with the limited time he has had.
