I dont know how some international players, who score around 6points a game get drafted, and then a great college player , all american, like scottie doesn't get drafted. I say Rockets pick him up just in case lowry doesn't resign or even if he does he can be on the summer league and see how he does, its worth a shot, the guy has a high basketball iq, and you don't have to sign him to a long contract. risk free for a great college player imo
i forgot to mention, guy reminds me of kyle lowry with a better jump shot <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wNZX7FeS74s&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xd0d0d0&hl=en_US&feature=player_detailpage&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wNZX7FeS74s&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xd0d0d0&hl=en_US&feature=player_detailpage&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
i dont know about deron williams, but definitely kyle, how he is not afraid to get on the floor and get the loose ball. I'm sure he will be on a team pretty soon, he is too good of a player, and hopefully Morey is smart enough to give him a shot. Gettrrr done!!
Exactly, he was very highly touted going into the tournament. He couldn't live up to the hype. I wouldn't mind giving him a shot on the Summer League team.
i could see him dropping a couple of spots, but not just not being drafted. There is a reason, why teams like the Wolves,Clippers, pacers keep being mediocore, they dont draft smart. I'm sure if he was available with the last pick and the rockets had a pick in the 2nd round they would have taken him. Brooks was thought of as a too small guy, and he worked out.
Any player who dives like that on the floor for loose balls deserves a chance. Unlike Lowry though, he seems to go away from contact, as in try to find the open spot to drive or shoot, which isn't a bad thing. He's got lively feet, so although he seems to lack speed, it's still tough to stay in front of him. How accurate is his shooting? If it's solid he looks like a good choice to stash in Rio Grande Valley.
I watch a lot of Nova basketball and I really enjoyed seeing Reynolds play. Lowry was also incredible in college. Jay Wright understands hard nosed PG play.
Sheron Collins didnt get drafted either and he was Kansas best player for like the last 2 or 3 years.
Collins has weight issues and did not do anything to change those thoughts during workouts. Also he is turnover prone. He is a summer league and will be NBDL bound.
