Really surprised Bourn swung at that 3-1 pitch with the bases loaded. Thought for sure he would take on that pitch. Was a clear Ball 4.

Lindstrom struggling... came in with a 3 run lead.

3 hits, 1 run in, 1 out, winning run at the plate.

Very nice recovery by Lindstrom. Handled Huff and Uribe really well.

Actually, he pwned Uribe to be honest. 3 consecutive well located fastballs for the K.

I heard the Giants were so impressed by Castro's performance against them this series that they named a street after him in San Francisco.

Yeah playing Blum or Keppinger at Shortstop for more than one game at a time is laughable. Everyone can turn in their one Omar Vizquel day, but to ask guys with lackluster range to cover such an area of space for multiple days in a row is what you would like to avoid. Castro showed some pop today. He slammed that ball. I finally got a keyboard for my PS3, so I should be one here more often.

I know its early, but Castro have alleviated at least some of my concerns about him, which is that he can't handle major league pitching. Now we'll have to wait for the "pitchers adjust to him and can he or can he not adjust" phase.

Still, only 23 years old. When was the last time we had such a young, relevant player in the majors?

    Hunter Pence

And really JR Towles to a slightly lower degree. Remember he played great when he was first called up.
