So you essentially stole big chunks from a few different videos that you didn't make, added a song that doesn't go well with the footage at all, and then slapped some credits on the end to claim it as your own work, with no mention of the sources you "borrowed" from. Bad form all around.
Well, I chopped up some highlight reels, I don't work for the NY times or anything, I wasn't recording the Kentucky games for the mix. Where should I get my clips from? Don't be the bitter internet guy, we just drafted a solid player, look past the petty bickering and enjoy the offseason as the plot unfolds in front of you... or don't, I don't care, have a good one.
I responded as someone who has made a large number of mixes in my day, and some of them have taken months to complete. There is a lot of hunting for clips, downloading, viewing, cutting, splicing, etc. involved with making even a 2 or 3 minute video. The people who made the original videos put in time and effort, while you simply lifted their footage and pasted it in place as is. At the very least, credit should have been given to the original contributors at the end of the video. Instead, you put your own name on it... There's really no point to splicing the clips together anyway. You could have just posted the separate videos from which you lifted the footage.
Whatever dude, you're cool, i'm not, whatever it takes to get your rocks off. I simply put music of my choosing to a few highlights I found on the internet, excited about our pick. If you want to over analyze everything, that's your business, enjoy your miserable life, but I don't want to hear about it.
the bickering is kinda senseless. anyway that vid made me a little bit happier about our pick, thanks to whoever made it or whatever.
I spliced the clips/added the music, like everyone who makes fan-clips like these, dude is a wiener, and I don't mean that in no good way.
