I believe he will. Don't see why he shouldn't be allowed to.

Im sure its the first 5 games of the regular season. Personally, Im not a big Mo Taylor fan. Hes soft and hes a small forward in a big mans body. I see him riding the pine behind Griffin or Thomas for most of the season, big contract and all.

Don't count on it. He has supposedly been mopping the floor with Kenny Thomas in workouts this summer.

Hey, does Taylor have a nickname? Maybe we could call him Mo "The Janitor" Taylor. :D .....:) ....:(

    Or maybe just Mo?

Thats suprising. I heard Taylor was looking like Thomas Hamilton lately. lol Id still be suprised to see Taylor with a starting spot for any extended period of the season.

I'd like to see Taylor as the starter, at least until Griffin feels comfortable taking 30+ minutes of abuse banging underneath every game. Besides, right now other than possibly Ming, Taylor is our best low post option. I just don't think KT fits into the offense well b/c he needs to ISO from the elbow to be effective offensively, just like our guards. Taylor on the other hand can spot up for midrange jumpers or operate out of the left block. As far as nicknames go, how bout Tractor Taylor :D

Yeah, apparently he's slimmed down. I think he was about 290 or 280 around the end of summer league. Not sure about that though. I would predict him starting from the near-beginning(after 5 games.) and at least till the All Star break. (barring injuries.) If Griffin is tearing it up, I'd predict him to start then. If he isn't, later.

But it doesn't matter what I think. Rudy's the one makeing the decisions. Hopefully he's not drunk while doing that. :D

    Jeff,
I respect your word but, it is very surprising that MO would be showing up Kenny as bad as it sounds. Kenny is much quicker with his feet and hands than MO T and Mo hasn't played in a year. If it's true, it's a good thing because we know how well Kenny played last year and that means that MO T is ready for this year.

Mo, the last time I heard (about a month ago) was 10 pounds over the playing weight where they'd like him. He was "dominating" KT every time on the floor and was determined to prove himself.

I don't usually post stuff that I hear because it's not usually my thing, but I heard this from more than one source, so I know it is legit info.

Ive never thought of Taylor as a true low post playor? That was always the knock on him. That he was soft and played more of the upper post than low post. Hopefully, Griffin has been working with CD and Mr. Mean on his low post game and this will all be a moot discussion. Providing Griffin has developed, I have no problem seeing Mo on the bench. I think we have more options with Griffin on the floor.

Yep, Mo's definitely been working hard and slimming down. However, this picture taken earlier this summer at a charity event was pretty discouraging. The match ended in a draw.

After watching Otis Thorpe it's much tougher to watch these guys giggle around the court. But it's all good. Hopefully they can take some of the pressure of Yao this year. This team should have a whole lot of scoring punch. Everybody can shoot the rock.

DCkid, MoT looks in shape in that picture... a draw against 8 other guys is not bad.

This is unsubstantiated. Karl Malone did not "mop the floor with Kenny" in live games. MoT is not going to either. I don't care what BBall idiot Marketing Rep is making a believer of Jeff's.

Jeff, you are CLUELESS what summer practice is about and you have not yet answered Old School or me on when exactly they were "going at it" when MoT was just cleared to play July 1st and went for 2 weeks to Summer Camp with Griffin.

You are clueless about Kenny and summer camps, and you are going to be wrong come camp.

    BET ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
