[rquoter]The Los Angeles Lakers and guard Raja Bell(notes) will enter free agency with a strong mutual interest to reach agreement on a deal, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. Kobe Bryant(notes) has become a strong advocate for Bell, a former nemesis. After missing most of the season with surgery to repair ligaments in his non-shooting wrist, Bell is still expected to be a coveted bench player among contending teams. He could give the Lakers another strong perimeter defender and a solid outside shooting threat. Bell, 33, was dealt to the Golden State Warriors in November as part of the Stephen Jackson(notes) trade with the Charlotte Bobcats. Bell missed all but six games last season. Bell famously dropped Bryant with a clothesline foul in the 2006 playoffs, but the two developed a mutual respect and bond.[/rquoter] http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Av3PzKd7Tz6weObJ1sJIbO68vLYF?slug=ys-belllakers062210
I guess thats the way to gain Kobe's respect, by putting the hurt on him like some sort of gang orientation.
Kobe's eyeing enemies and bringing them closer. First Ron Artest. Now Raja Bell. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/T6n6POS9AIM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/T6n6POS9AIM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
one thing tho.. checkout the scoreboard the whole clip.. great numbers and scoring but this was all he was before they get the steal of the decade in Gasol and became good again
lol i love that highlight vid. everytime they flash a score phx is up by like 10 and the music only gets more dramatic as the lead gets bigger.
When you have the kind of team he had... he did all he could to try to beat the #1 seeded Suns... can't blame him except for that game 7 in 07 where he went to the bench.
not ENTIRELY true. lakers were number 1 in the west prior to the gasol trade that year... i wouldn't say they weren't "good" although Gasol did make them title contenders for years to come
