OMG it would take more skill to miss than make that goal. And now a colossal error by the Korean defender. Instead of kicking it out he tries to dribble it and ends up fouling in the box.
That's the 2nd time in this game that the Koreans have given up a goal due to an utter lack of urgency and/or effort in their own end.
Wow, what a crazy minute. Huge whiff from 2 yards out and Korea gets a break. Then the defender gets beat on a ball he had instead of clearing out and he gives away a penalty kick.
Yakubu missed that open goal, I've never seen anything like it..............he'll never get past that.... it should be 3-2.
This has probably already been explained... but if Nigeria and Korea tie, and Greece and Argentina tie. Who advances? Greece or Korea?
Had he scored on that first chance, it changes a lot of things. You can't assume the same sequence of events would've occurred. This is known as the bobrek rule in these circles.
I know, just had to point that out. bobrek got me on it in an Astros thread last season and he's right. Most of us have a tendency to think that way.
