Rose got off to a very slow disappointing start.

But the 2nd half of the season he played great basketball. Most overrated PG is Rajon Rondo. I'm a UK fan and I'm a big Rondo fan but a lot of fans started to put him over Deron and Chris Paul. He is definitely a top 5 pg and might be number 4 but people overrated him. It's hard to argue against him at times because the man either gets a triple double or flirts with one. If he can somehow get a solid jumper looks for him to challenge Paul and Williams for the top spot every year.

How is Vince Carter overrated? Nobody rates him high anymore. As said earlier Joe Johnson is the most overrated SG in the NBA. Hell he might be the most overrated player in the NBA. Although it is getting to a point where most people think he's overrated so he might not be anymore. Either way he shouldn't be getting money as an elite player. He would be a very good number 2 guy though.

    Most overrated squad

    PG: Monta Ellis
    SG: Joe Johnson
    SF: Caron Butler
    PF: Dirk Nowitzki
    C: Al Jefferson

I do have to agree with you on Rondo, the whole franchise player or top PG in the league is a little absurd. People seem to forget Chris Paul was out with injury and considered the best until Deron Williams started killin it this year and dominating games.

PG: Ricky Rubio - He may not be in the NBA, but that doesn't stop many from voting him into the all star game.

    One Month Ago:
Lebron James: not that he sucks, but every journalist was riding that to no end

Ahh I kind of agree with you on Monta but then again I think people have him rated just as he is. A scoring guard that fits that system well. People do tend to overrate him at times so I think your list is pretty good.

I think I'd take off Dirk and put LaMarcus Aldridge or Antwan Jamison at the PF spot.

Rose made his scoring average go from 16ppg to 20ppg in the middle of the season.

Rondo is a perfect example of being overrated. His outside shot sucks and he shoots a horrible percentage from the charity stripe...yet he's a top 5 PG? Yeah, ok!

The Lakers didn't even try to guard Rondo. Think about that for a second.

I agree, he very well might still be the 3rd best PG, but people are now calling him the best which is absurd

You do realize that Rose is the primary scorer and floor general for the Bull's team, right? The Bulls basically rely on him to create the offense. Having 2.78 TO a game is great for the output he creates.

.73 steals a game? Seriously? Steal averages do not and are not an indicator of great defense (but its not like Rose plays great D either so I'll just toss that out). You can easily inflate your steal average by gambling with steals. If you think that a guard's steal average is equivalent to great D, than do you consider A.I. a great defender? Of course not its absurd.

I swear I was thinking Aldridge as well, but he hasn't really been rated much so far. Until he gets All Star consideration and such he'll be a tad above average power forward with an outside jumper and length.

Dirk has not done much when it comes down to just plain winning in the playoffs. He puts up all the numbers and gets all the accolades except when the time comes to win a crucial series/game he flunks big time. I think of him as a "bit more succesful version of T Mac".

    That's why he's my PF.

LeBron James. The chosen 1 before he played one game in NBA and got upset by underdogs in consecutive years. Only MVP worthy in regular season.

He shut down Rondo in the finals. Something the entire Cavs couldn't do. He worn down RA as well and RA couldn't find his rhythm other than the one game Kobe in foul trouble . That's as good a defense as you can get.

Big thumbs up to the person who mentioned Joe Johnson. He always disappears when the going gets tough in the playoffs. Amare is kind of overrated too but he's one of the best finishers at the rim. His D and rebounding absolutely sucks though

fyi, he made it 7 or 8 times already.

it is voted by coaches, each coach can't vote for his owne players.

kobe is one the all-defense team because the NBA coaches concluded that he belongs there.
