I'm wondering about some stupid note I found that someone made in a ticket endorsement.

Hi B-Ball Freak, sorry, I missed the reply to this thread.

My question is pretty basic, I had an inter-continental discounted business class ticket that was really non-changeable by the rules, but I thought I would call the airline's frequent flyer hotline and see if I could find someone who would not get it and change it anyway. I called and the agent clearly did not check the rules and just went ahead and changed it, I also got a confirmation e-mail with the new dates, and no note of having to pay anything (neither on the phone nor in the mail). Everything sort of looks fine on checkmytrip (except that the guy did not change the date for the feeder return flight - the international segment is changed, but the domestic flight to the final destination (MUC-CGN) is still four days later (the original date). As someone advised me that checkmytrip may not be accurate and might just show a "stickered" version of the e-ticket, but that the e-ticket might not actually have been changed, that same person gave me a link to eitr.amadeusasia.com where one can see more of the booking. There, I can see a note that says "[date and flight number of return flight] ADC required". I googled that and it seems to mean "Additional collection required". Now I am a bit concerned about this as it seems to indicate that my parents (I booked the ticket for them) could show up at the airport and the airline could try to force them to pay up a significant amount or not take them on the flight. It looks like the e-ticket was indeed only "stickered", but not re-issued.

How do you see this? Obviously, a regular customer would just go by what they received as a confirmation mail of the changes and would not suspect anything. Should I try to sort this out in advance or just show up at the airport (I'll also be with my parents that day) and act like "I got a confirmation mail, you better take us on this flight, nobody told me of any charges, I fly your airline 100 times a year, yada yada"... This seems a little bit risky and obviously, I do not want to put my parents in any unpleasant situation, but it seems to me like any attempt to sort this out beforehand would be very costly. We really need the flight four days earlier because I have to travel from Asia to Europe to the US that day and I cannot let my parents fly alone, as my father is handicapped, etc.

    Thanks for any advice.
