[rquoter]Kansas State guard Jacob Pullen says Heat forward Michael Beasley(notes), a former teammate at Kansas State, told him he left college too soon.

Pullen tells the Topeka Capital-Journal (via the South Florida Sun-Sentinel) that Beasley counseled him this spring about leaving early for the pros. Pullen will return to K-State for his senior season. Beasley left the Wildcats after his freshman season in 2008.

“I talked to Mike. The two weeks right before the draft deadline, Mike spent out in Kansas. We talked and he said if he could re-do everything, he’d have stayed all four years,” the Capital-Journal quotes Pullen as saying.

Pullen also says Beasley told him pro ball is serious business.

“He said to think about it and not just worry about the money. Think about the experiences you want to be part of, because once you make that decision it’s your life. It’s a job. It’s not fun anymore,” Pullen tells the newspaper.[/rquoter]
