Paul Pierce - YES - 1 CHAMPIONSHIP, 20K points, good enough, imo.
Kevin Garnett - YES - Amazing prime, got his championship
Ray Allen - YES -2nd best 3 point shooter statistically, one championship, 20k points
    Vince Carter
Rasheed Wallace - NO - maybe if he won against LA
Steve Nash - YES - two time MVP, good enough, great percentages, one of the best efficient point guards of all time despite lack of defense.
Tracy McGrady - NO - injuries have derailed him, but if he gets over the 20k point mark, and he gets a championship playing an important part, yes...
Tony Parker - NO - he's still not old enough
Chauncey Billups - NO - end of his career can make it a yes though
Rip Hamilton - NO - hasn't really done enough
Chris Webber - NO - retired too early despite injuries..
Manu Ginobli - NO - has championships, but
Jason Kidd - YES - one of the best passers and rebounding pgs.

That's interesting for the VC and Tmac aspect.

Why would Vince not get a maybe?

They both have similar numbers but Vince has gotten past the first round.

    It's close to me..

Meant to put Yes for Jkidd

    And to Landry92...

Did you ever see Bill Russell Play? Have you ever even researched him, heard what his teammates said about him, heard some of the stories about him?

I think if you did you would realize that your "Dwight Howard is better than Bill Russell" sig is complete nonsense

you're forgetting Jerry Sloan/2009 and Adrian Dantley/2008 (that's just the NBA inductees)

It's not really much of an argument trying to compare those names to the ones in the first post. It's pretty common knowledge/opinion that the golden age of the NBA was in the 80's/90's.

Allen Iverson the greatest talent the NBA has ever seen - sounds like a fan who started watching the NBA when Iverson got into the NBA

And when did being a great dunker started being a criteria for the HOF?

I don't care for Iverson. But he is a lock. That's just how it works.

I just named the NBA player inductees, to get a better angle at it.

I hope we don't just induct players every year, "just b/c we have to"

could you elaborate more on the 80's and 90's. i think they were better as well.
