no brainer.. Hakeem kills any C in any era.. Drexler was MJ lite in his prime so that would be a RIDICULOUS duo.. but wheres Moses Malone/Dr. J? Isiah Thomas/Dennis Rodman? Reggie Miller/Rik Smits? Rick Smits gave Shaq FITS back in the day

**side note.. that shows how great Jordan was cuz all the shooting guards in these duos had a C as their running mate or a PF.. Jordan-GOAT

wooooooo! ur disqualified hahaha what past player do current players seek in the offseason for help on their offensive game? HAKEEM OLAJUWON, not Kareem.. only reason Kareem has the most points ever is cuz he played like 50 yrs, he had the sky hook and thats bout it.. the Dream Shake had about 10 different variations to it along with the up and under the spins fadeaways etc

Even though Kareem played 20 years, he actually score at a higher rate than Olajuwon did in his career. Pace-adjusted, Kareem scored 23.7 points per 36 minutes in his career, while Olajuwon scored 23.1 points per 36 minutes as a Rocket (I'll discard what he did with Toronto, which would drop his average even lower). Moreover, Kareem was an extremely efficient scorer -- a career .592 TS%, while Olajuwon was at .553 for his career.

It would be tough to bet against Dream and Drexler.

First, Dream has the defensive ability to to push the other centers to a draw.

Second, on offense, you'd probably reverse the positions and have Drexler posting up a lot of the guards with Dream giving the entry and cutting or flashing to a wide open mid-range jumper if the other centers didn't follow or even just taking them off the dribble. This gives you a mismatch of Drexler's strength over other guards and Dream's quickness on the outside. With Bird/McHale, you'd probably put Dream on the block and let him school McHale all day long.

i think some are forgetting this is a 2 on 2 tournament...so a lot of skills displayed on 5 on 5 full court basketball would go out the window for the most part...like Magic's passing...i'm sure he'd still get some nice passes in, but when the court is cut in half, no fast breaks, and a defender always on you it's going to limit his passing.
