Right on with Allman Brothers. Also, Sum 41, "Grab The Devil By The Horns And **** Him Up The Ass". I'm serious, it's a good song. Honest.
Just got done listening to "Orion" from one of the greatest heavy metal albums of all-time in "Master of Puppets".

I think it would take me a month to list all of my favorites. Being a musician, most of my favorite "music" (not songs, necessarily) falls into the instrumental category, particularly jazz and fusion.
There was a somewhat popular song back in the mid-to-late seventies that was all instumental, and featured what I assume was a brass instument of some sort (I'm guessing trombone, or maybe trumpet, but I don't really know instruments that well), but I never had the opportunity to find out what the name of it was. I think that it could probably be classified as either jazz or rythym and blues. I know I haven't given you much to work with, but is there any chance anybody can help me out here?
"Whale and Wasp" - Alice in Chains "Gammer Gerten's Needle" - Deep Blue Something "Behind My Camel" - Primus Of course, "Classical Gas" and "Dueling Banjos" have to be mentioned as well.
Good calls, Mango. I would add: "Piku" Chemical Brothers "Take Five" Dave Brubek "So What" Miles Davis "Cygnus X:1" would be my Rush choice "Product Placement 1 & 2" DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist "Funky Drummer" James Brown "Love's Theme" Barry White Soundtrack "A Clockwork Orange"
