Have the Celtics died of old age, and if so, can Morey feed on their tasty carrion?

that all makes sense but i think you missed my point. if the celtics are going to break up the team they will want to rebuild. if they are going into rebuild mode, they will want young players or picks. if the rockets know they may have to rebuild in the near future, they may not want to part with anything that the celtics will want for KG.

i think the rockets have to act as if they are rebuilding, when it comes to the value of young players and future picks. we don't want to cash them in for kg then decide we want to rebuild.

I may be the only one with this opinion but I think the Celtics suck. I was extremely bored and dissapointed. I wish Lebron would have been there. I hate Artest for bad mouthing the rockets(he you know he still bad mouths the rockets to bosh and other players) and I hate kobe.

kobe is determined to equal mj 6 rings. lets hope and pray lebrons bulls stop the lakers till kobe retires.

kobe is so stupid, he even decided to mimick down pat the "stand on scorers table like mj with ball in left hand and cap and fingers counting" just like mj

he has to copy mj's celebrations, its like watching wwe because kobe seems so fake, plus, without the refs help last night kobe would have not won

as far as celtics, the whole game i kept feeling that the rockets would have easily taken them. even without yao or bosh we can beat the celtics. im not impressed at all at the east conference....now when lebron joins noah and rose, then i'll be impressed.

    right now scola>kg martin>allen brooks>rondo(has 1 good game out of like 5)

not worried about pierce because he looked OLLLLLLDDDD last night

hill would dominate inside and our bench would destroy

    rockets>celtics

How much worth do you really think other players give the word of Artest? seriously.
I have about as affection for the lakers and kobe as I do the plague, but why are you hoping lebron puts a stop to it and not the Rockets?
    Great analysis. . .

Well we don't have Bosh, so that is irrelivant.

Brooks better than Rondo? Really? how do you figure? When was the last time you saw Brooks put up a triple double in the playoffs?

Dumb. The entire post. I personally was enjoying the opportunity to watch near-vintage performances by Rasheed and KG. You aren't going to get that again.

Get out of Lebron's ass and just enjoy the game of basketball.

What the Rockets need is someone like KG, not necessarily exactly KG. But someone similar to him, that contributes, has that much heart, and gets his team motivated and even if you think he's a jackass he plays his heart out every game and the stuff you think is stupid (chest bumping, etc.) is just to get himself motivated.

I think the Celtics would be absolutely stupid to break up a team that came within 5 points of winning the NBA title.

i'd take any of the big three:
    1-KG: help our interior defense
2- Pierce: shoot, penetrate and defend
3- Allen: an incredible shooter with a much better defense

with that said, i'd keep our current roster
1- Hill: can be a beast if he works hard on both ends
2- We still need a 3 on the level of Pierce( Ariza is not)
3- CBud will turn out as a Ray Allen if he improves

I'd even take Krypto Nate. Would be cool to have a multiple slam dunk champ and Yao blocker on our team as the Energizer bunny.

I wouldn't mind getting Perkins, but we'd probably have to over pay for him... and I don't know if I would like doing that for a backup center.

KG would be somebody I would love to get. He'd bring an intensity on defense that we severely lack from the 4 spot, and he'd be able to put up a lot of points from time to time. Unfortunately, he's old, and to get him the Rockets would have to give up some good, young talent. If they do that, a Championship better come as soon as possible... otherwise, it's a complete waste.

Ray Allen would be a good addition, but only for cheap, and only if he's willing to take a backup role. He could give Kevin Martin some rest and still bring a sharp-shooting ability and a better defensive mindset. I wouldn't want to pay a lot to get him, though.

Paul Pierce... there's no reason to even fool yourselves. The Celtics would be stupid to trade him. He's been there through the great times and the extremely rough patches. That would be like the Rockets trading Yao, or when they traded Hakeem.

Shooting maybe and honestly thats it. I cant stand Rondo but I wont say Brooks is better. Thats just too much homerism.

In fact, Someone like rondo fits soo much better on a team of our cast right now then Brooks. As much as I hate to say it that guy has very high ball court vision and penetrating that you wont see from Brooks (as often I will say).

It's strange, the Celtics were almost champions, but I can't really say I would want any of their players on our team, save Rondo.

WOW WOW WOW, i love the rockets man but you must be high. Rondo would have a field day, do you know often he would get in the paint against us? I mean brooks could put some offensive pressure on, but I mean C'mon MAN! Not that we are a great team at scoring inside the paint either way but with perkins and kg protecting the paint.

Honestly i dont even know why im responding to your post it was just horrible.

If that game was in Boston, the Celtics would be having a parade come Monday. That game was so close and team like the Celtics would have feed off that energy.

Bosh is not coming here, he has not ever once mentioned the Rockets as a possibility. Not sure why Ron would bad mouth the rockets, I have feeling its quite the opposite, we gave him the opportunity to show he could contribute on a winning team, if it was not for us, he would probably not be on the Lakers right now celebrating a championship.

Only thing you were right about it kobe and him mimicking jordan, Its kind of sad how he is such a poser, always has been, when he was younger he would hang his tongue out on dunks, the dude is not real at all, such a fake.
