I don't dislike the Lakers or hate them. What I can't stand are Kobe fanatics. They are the worse fans ever!

I'm a Kings fan...enough said. Also, last years Rockets vs Lakers series made me hate them even more. Fisher and Kobe, especially.
They are our western conference rivals.... that and probably because I hate some of the players on their team. Fisher, Vujabitch, and Farmar are the ones I hate the most. I respect Gasol's flopping as I do for Scola, Lowry, and Jeffries. I don't have a problem with Kobe's antics.
For me, its mostly the attitude of some of the Laker fans I've come across on the internet that makes me root against them. And I typically root against teams that I feel play the game with a sense of entitlement -- and I get that vibe from the Lakers. I do respect what they did this year, though.
because of derek fisher, and kobe. fisher is complete cheap shot artist and gets away with dirty plays with no more than a slap on the wrist, someone on another would probably have multiple suspensions for the crap he has pulled. and then their is the douche that is kobe bryant, his arrogance, him putting himself about his teammates , and then showing up shane battier last year was the last straw.
Need multiple choices. Showtime Lakers were cool. This bunch? Eh, not so much. This was a series of two evils for me.
Only guy I don't like on LA is Fisher. Kobe is a jerk but he's got skillz so I can't hate on that. Gasol is a flopper and I don't like floppers, but there are floppers on every team so I have learned to deal with it (Houston has a few notorious floppers) I also hate Vujacic but everyone does
In a general sense, they're the NBA version of a spoiled brat. Kobe has a fake persona, a sense of entitlement, embellishes everything, and cries when he doesn't get his way. Phil has a generally smug look about him, and while I don't doubt he's a very good coach, he has never successfully taken a weak team and won anything with them (he's never had to). Derek Fisher flops constantly, especially on pick 'n roll screens, yet smiles like a jackass any time he gets called for something questionable (or blatantly obvious). Andrew Bynum is one of the most robotic big men in the league, and probably couldn't crack an NBA rotation if he were 6'10" with an average wingspan. Vujacic is just annoying. He does play pesky defense, which I give him all the credit in the world for, but when he commits a foul for being overly aggressive, he always acts surprised. In general, the Lakers seem to get away with mistreating the refs more than anyone else...especially Kobe and Derek Fisher. I believe if Kobe were treated like most players in terms of how far he can go when showing up the refs, he would have accrued at least 7 techs and missed a game during these playoffs. To top it all off, they have so many bandwagon fans, that GM probably would have been just fine if they had come out with a Lakers branded SUV a couple of years ago. I have nothing against Gasol, Odom, Artest, Farmar, Walton, etc. Sure, Gasol flops, but he is also a very skilled player, doesn't talk trash, and he also comes across as a great teammate...all of which I respect. And to be clear, I think Kobe is an absolutely phenomenal player. When I have kids, I'll tell them all about him, show them game tape, and probably even encourage them to model parts of their game after him. I just can't root for the guy, or his team.
My # 1 reason. They're cocky and its hard to talk basketball with them. They think Kobe is God. They are bandwagon fans too. It was embarrassing to see my facebook blow up from people that live in Houston and aren't even from LA.
Chalk me up as another guy who can't stand them because of their fans. Die-hard Laker fans are great, but the problem is that their winning tradition and marketing push by the NBA (i.e; them being on ABC 25 times a year with other teams not even getting a single appearance) has made them the defacto choice for casual fans. And these guys are annoying as hell.. they lap up the merchandise, put up stupid car flags (at least here in Cali), and don't know dick about the game. They buy into all the Kobe hype which in turn feeds the media, who cater to them (see Mark Jackson trying to inflate Kobe's historically bad game yesterday). Basically, they dumb down the NBA for the rest of us. It's like being a smart guy in a class full of r****ds. You can't ever learn anything because the teacher has to cater the lectures to the masses. Laker fans are those masses. You can see the effect even on the internet (which you'd think would target die-hards but I guess the accessibility is so open these days even Kobe fans can get on). Just on this board there are a group of five or six idiot Kobe homers who ruin the discussion for everyone else. And that sucks.
There are too many fishy stuffs with the Lakers winning in recent years that I do not believe it happens coincidently anymore. Furthermore, Fisher proved to be the most filthiest scumbag in the NBA and despise how Phil Jackson can't do anything without the an all star (ex or current) line up after Bulls days.
I hate their fans, I hate Kobe Bryant because he's big spoiled baby. I don't like Fisher because he can't handle being outplayed and uses a cheap shot to somehow redeem himself. The fact that he sees a cheap shot as redemption says that he is a loser. I hate Phil Jackson because he's allowed that stupid Zen schtick to stick, when he isn't Zen at all. I hate Sasha because he's a little p***y who thinks he's great because of the team he's on. I hate Pau Gasol because the guy is just one big human, life sized, arm pit. That's why I hate the Lakers.
I hate their front-running "KOBE IZ GOD" fans. I hate the smug look on Kobe's face. Yeah I bet you did the same thing after you raped that girl. I hate Kobe's constant whinning to the refs and LA getting benefit of the doubt of the calls.
I hate those kobe wankers because they are ridiculous childish. I hate most bandwagon lakers fans because they always find excuses when the team lost and the lamest reason, the referees against the lakers, LOL. I actually like Gasol, in fact i like all european players in the league.
