Dang, thats a lot of red rings...got good ventilation going there? Something is up...dont think thats the norm with the 360, even as unreliable as they have been. Having one system go out that many times is bad enough...having 2 seems to be more than coincidence. Mine got RROD about a year after I bought it...now I havent had problems in a couple years. Just waiting for it to go out before I jump on the slim.

I already have a backup....we have two in the house, one goes out at a time. Maybe it is a ventilation issue, though the PS3 and Wii never have an issue and they are right in the same spot. Anyone tried those fans on the back? I thought they hurt the power supply. DD

lol it can still screw up it just doesnt have red led's anymore which is why you went get the red ring so who knows what it will show when it messes up.

I thought they just replace it with a new console, and the new consoles don't have the RROD problem ... I had to replace mine last Fall; I guess its just a matter of time before it goes. I don't play it that often, though.
The last time they gave me a whole new one......this one has been fixed twice, if they change the serial number on it then it will be all new too. Look, I don't really mind that much, we have two of them, and they are only out a week or so...and it is fixed free..... I love my PS3 and Wii, and right now, my 7 year old is playing Final Fantasy on the NES (yep the original). DD

how the hell does this happen to you so often, I only happened to me once. Disc drive errors are a much more common occurence for me
What I saw is not what they are shipping, the entire setup I saw had 2 cameras and 4 mics set around the room and was really good at recognizing things. What they are shipping is not even close to that. DD
6 times is pretty gross. Don't even know why people still stick with the 360, PS3 has had five times more exclusive games in the last two years,
If you are an online gamer you stick with 360 easy as that someone mentioned fans, I have an intercooler fan attatched to the back of my 360 and I have had not problems since putting it in place
i've got an original xbox 360 and it's only RROD once on me i have it on a tv stand that has good ventilation. get the new one DD.
