There are being absolutely dominated right now. I hope they ****ing lose 7 to nothing and their children are murdered in the streets. ****ing pathetic.
Just like the USA did after they got a draw against England. Just give credit were credit is due. It is not over for the USA, like SJC said with a quick goal in the second half anything can happen. And England hasn't been impressive either maybe they will also make an error.
I disagree. Despite the Slovenians being able to pack it in and the fortune of having Handanovic in goal, I think w/ the right changes the US can get two back in the second half. Findley should not start in the second half as for the most part-as a striker he is a waste of space. You have Buddle or Gomez on the bench, one should start the second half. If not the above then push Dempsey up top, bring in Stu to deliver good service to the strikers. The US has no width because Dempsey and Donovan don't specialize in traditional wing play. We'll see what Bobby B. decides to do.
As far as Findley is concerned, he's not very good. But he's done alright today, despite that horrid yellow card.
I think the goalkeeper was fouled by Findley beforehand. That's where the yellow card goes to. Have faith Americans, for most of the 1st half USA has dominated, if they couuld keep the same pace in 2nd half, I like your chance in the 2nd half. The first goal needs not to be scored in the early minutes of 2nd half, as long as you have 15 minutes or so left and there's only 1 goal differential, that quarter of an hour football will be the best to be seen.
Two great scoring chances were missed; one by Findley and the other by Dempsey. Findley got the intercepted ball by Slovenia's mistake. He should have either shot the ball with power or passed to Donovan near the far post with nobody marking him. But he hesitated and chose to pass to Altidore with two defenders on him. Lack of experience. In another occasion, Dempsey got the ball in Slovenia's penalty area, he should have just shot the ball, but chose to squeeze it to Donovan.
