    I'm sorry, what?

Dude, this is for the CHAMPIONSHIP. You think Paul Pierce is going to let Rondo take the shot on a gamble?

Artest / Gasol may have been the difference in this game, but no way Kobe lets Artest take the shot for a gamble.

    This.

Even though Bryant was superb in the previous games, the FMVP should really be the best player THIS game.

Kobe singlehandedly took the Lakers out of it.

Artest and Gasol ensured that the Lakers stayed IN it.

I don't think anyone would love wearing a Kobe mask and a strap on just so someone can get a hard on...

this is the first time that an finals MVP, plays so badly in the Game 7.

The knicks played defense specifically on Hakeem, but Hakeem played great that game 7.
teams played defense specifically on MJ, on the finals but he still played great.
Kobe played awful this Game 7.
If you are the best player on the team, and the leader you have to step up in the biggest game of the season.

The Lakers will probably win the next 2 NBA Champions as well.
Look at the rest of the league:-
Spurs are old even Tiago Splitter cant save them.
Blazers and Thunder are still 1 quality big men away from contender and for the thunder only if Ibaka continued to develop.
Teams like, Rockets, Nuggets, Suns, Jazz and Mavs are classic case of pretenders.
In the East, Celtics are old and Cavs are one Gasol away from title contender.
Magic? Sorry, no chance in hell Dwight Howard can handle both Bynum and Gasol.

Kobe, Artest and Fisher may be aging but Gasol is in his prime so the league is doomed!

I don't think hes the greatest ever, its tough to say MJ is the greatest ever with bill russel and so on. Fact is he is great, he had an off game, MJ has had his, and alot of great ones will have theirs, they find a way to contribute one way or another. I wish people would stop obsessing with their top 5 or top 10 or who is the greatest and just appreciate this man's approach and dedication to the game, people are saying he wasn't the finals mvp, after dropping 29-8-5-2 about this series? are you kidding me? they wouldn't have sniffed it without him. He is great, he is his own player, Jordan was great and unique and arguably the greatest ever but who cares, they were both great and we should appreciate what they bought to the game rather than getting people to hate one or the other by comparing them.

Yes you are right Bryant is much better with rebounds (Bryant 5.4- Lebron 7.3) and assist( Bryant 5.0- Lebron 8.6) compared to Lebron who can only score. Do people even think before they post?

yes Bryant is the only fnals MVp who was targeted by the defense of the opposing players, They just let Jordan, Hakeem and Shaq etc score at will

And since Bryant was targeted by the defence so bad he was able to get many assists (2) and get his teamates involved (he took most shots of all the Lakers while he only made 25% of them).

I'm no LBJ fan or anything but if they switched teams, I don't think the outcomes would be any different. I think LBJ has a better overall game (even in Nobe's prime) but Nobe has just lucked out playing second fiddle to Shaq for his first three rings and stealing Gasol for the last three Finals appearances.

Ignored those Kobe wankers. The only reason kobe won is because he is lucky to play with big men like Shaq and Gasol.

Kobe with Shaq - 4 Finals and 3 rings
Kobe with Gasol - 3 Finals and 2 rings
Kobe without quality Bigs - missed playoffs and 2 first rounds exit!
