I don't think it makes much sense either, unless he wanted to ensure that this dynasty lived on (because PJ would def. have left if they lost, etc).

I don't think it was rigged, just poorly officiated down the stretch. It was a great game for the first three quarters though.

Its kind of funny how the better team wins all of the first 3 qts. than the officials get involved and sure enough here come the lakers with the refs behind them bailing them out once again. I swear when will officiating get serious in the NBA!!! We need officials who care for nobody but the game so they will stop favoring the home team or the better player. Gasol ot all the calls in the world, the block on KG was a obvious FOUL he grabed all hand(homo). The same play in the 4th qtr, Gasol goes up and Sheed or Kg block it the same exact way and they call the foul, same F****** play but diffrent team. I hate both teams i love my ROCKETS but when i see that its so obvious what the officals are doing it makes me so mad. I swear D.Stern aka dumbass is involved in the outcome of these games, it jst sucks how no one has the balls to till this SOB something. Go ROCKETS!!! srry Boston once again the officals win the game.

Though the officiating was horrible tonight, the Celtics collapsed in the fourth... Man what a horrible b-day for me... First the Celts loose and the cake melts....
All that aside, there was one horrible call that made me want to rip the TV apart. Its clear, Gasol ****ing traveled on that one put back. If the refs called the travel and Sheed hit the three, I think that there would be a possible OT or the celtics would've won off of Rondo's three.

They actually shot better in the fourth than the Lakers.

It was crappy refereeing...both ways. Why they picked this guy to ref the Finals is beyond me. When he refs Rockets games they are a complete trainwreck, like tonight's game.

So you fight idiocy with...more idiocy. I'm surprised you didn't counter with a thread titled:

Vernon Maxwell can be the guard on the Lakers in the 2010-2011 season/playoff campaign: CHAMPION EDITION.

I honestly would have preferred that.

Why a ref gets picked for 3 games in the finals, when he has made the worst calls of the season??

    Amen Brother.

WORST officiating calls EVER!! Pau had them suckered all night with his flops.

Players like him who concentrate solely on flopping to trick the refs are perverting the integrity of the game, what little is left of it anyway, simply Sickening and hard to watch from a non-bias POV.

    Finals MVP- Refs

how many times did kobe and pau get their heads taken off in the post with no call?? how about when garnett smacked artest on both arms before hitting the ball on that fast break and it went as a no call? lakers hit the shots when it counted, celtics didnt.....lakers shot more fts cause they got a million more offensive rebounds and on the follows they got hacked a lot.

This is a lie. The Lakers made six FGs the entire 4th quarter and shot like 30%. They were just sent to the line for (legitimate) ticky-tack stuff every time. The refs decided to become part of the game and that's a real shame because it was going just fine without them.

I didn't watch the game, but based on past issues it's a ****ing joke Joey Crawford was working game 7 of the NBA Finals.

That's why in a nutshell most casual fans think the NBA is rigged.

LOS ANGELES -- This may have been Rasheed Wallace's last NBA game.

Doc Rivers said he thought Wallace is thinking about retiring, and Sheed's actions after the game support that.

Wallace went by the officials' dressing room and tried to get a work with ref Danny Crawford.

Wallace, who fouled out, said he was trying to give Crawford a compliment.

No matter how you cut it when one team shoots more free throws in one quarter than the other team did for the entire game you have a badly officiated game.

Do you really think that while getting all those offensive boards the Lakers grabbed they didn't foul? It was a physical game, but in the end suddenly one team was allowed to be physical and the other wasn't. THE END.
