after sucking like a scrub in the first 2 series in that run. a great player (and he will make it as a first ballot HOF) has to play well consistently. he plays well like one series per a finals run.

He's sat on the bench in a suit all season, can't play w/o a uni. Perkins getting injured allowed him to get in.

When you call 5/7 call the NBA what you want.

    Until then, I'm right.

they have 13 more offensive rebounds. so that made up for their bad shooting.

    No kidding.

Holding the Lakers to only 14 in the first quarter was huge for Boston. Unfortunately, like you said, they just couldn't take advantage.

I expect Kobe to be less of a bonehead, and iso himself in the corner, in the second half.

Ray Allen better come out to play, because he will still get a lot of shots.

    Stop crying.

    5 for 7.

I should have gotten all of them if I thought about it for another minute.

You guys have no idea, but it's all about taking the Lakers' fans money, they have been winning money all year which means they are dumb enough to bet it all on the Lakers on game 7.

Makind Dicaprio and his wife happy is just a bonus.

Wow, this is a great game so far! I'm pretty amazed that Kobe and Gasol are playing so poorly...you could say they're choking, big time. I see the Lakers coming out more composed in the 3rd though...Boston better be ready, but if they continue their great D, especially on Kobe, they'll win this sucker.

I'm confused. You think you're the only one with that prediction, and that ideology?

Alert the newspapers, Clutch! Apparently, the scientists were wrong, and everything revolves around BEAT LA.

Actually the Lakers won Game 3 and the Celtics won Game 4, so you flipped those two

Try to look at both sides of the ball. Allen is playing FANTASTIC 'D' on Kobe and that has to be wearing him out.

Crying about what? Egotistical jerks who contribute nothing to the thread? Instead of talking about the game, you post that you are correct in predicting 5/7.

No one cares. I sure won't, after this post.

The most dangerous time for Boston is going to be the first nine minutes of the third quarter, imo. Phil has made it clear he's going to use the majority of Bynum's 10 minutes per half early, and that's when LA has the enormous length advantage. As lopsided as the rebounds looked early, Boston did a pretty good job late in the half and closed the gap (29-23).

Kobe's going to hit a few jumpers in the third, when he regroups, and Bynum/Gasol will have some putback layups. It's inevitable. Key is, will Boston's offense go into a funk like early in the second quarter, or will it be like Game 5 when they matched Kobe even when he was going insane? I like Boston's chances if they have a six-point lead going into the fourth quarter, because they're playing good defense and they can hold their own on the glass against Odom and Gasol. But can they hold their own in the third when the Lakers get their offensive boards... that's the biggest question, imo.

Then he needs to stop shooting; at least drive the ball in.

If his shot isn't falling, try something else; every shot you miss turns into a potential 2 or 3 or even 4 points for the other team.

    I know.

People act like they can call 5 of 7 like it's nothing. Like they saw for the first time in the finals the Lakers would lose at home (game 2).

    for

    seven

I'm not asking to be repped or anything.

But just because I don't have anything good to say, you guys don't like anything I say.

    Whatever, I'm out.
