How could we not have traded for Maggette? The team everyone expected to screw up comes away with Miles, Richardson, Dooling, and Maggette after draft day. Unbelievable. ------------------ "I wanna eat his children."
i'm with ya cabbage -- i am impressed with the clips deal -- truly remarkable from a clipper perspective ------------------
Yeah, let's all become Clipper fans. ------------------ "Go to hell Costas"-Dave Nelson after sweeping the ABSCAs on NewsRadio visit www.swirve.com

The Clipps come away with Miles, Magette, Strong, Dooling, RIchardson. We come away with JASON COLLIER, whose the joke now? ------------------
Yup, Clippers all the way. Clutch, shut down the site now. ------------------ "Go to hell Costas"-Dave Nelson after sweeping the ABSCAs on NewsRadio visit www.swirve.com
The Clips certainly got some pretty awesome young talent tonight but they're still good for 60+ losses next year easy. Who's going to coach this team? I wouldn't put it past Elgin to be out tomorrow scouring the junior high schools and indian reservations for his next coach. ------------------ There are three kinds of people in the world... those who can count and those who can't.
Rocketman95--you're suppressing your anger again. You need to let it out. ------------------ stop posting my damn signature
Pole, funny! Actually, I'm not really upset with tonight's actions at all. We weren't going to get much of a difference maker anyway. I'm just one of those fans who tends to give his teams the benefit of the doubt when it comes to stuff like this. They know what they are doing. Sure they ain't perfect, but they know. ------------------ "Go to hell Costas"-Dave Nelson after sweeping the ABSCAs on NewsRadio visit www.swirve.com
Rocketman... I guess the Rox orginazation knew just like the Astros knew theyd still contend after they atrocious deals they made this offseason. This is another bad chapter in Rudy's and Carrols draft day decisions since Horry and Cassell. In a nutshell it was a pathetic deal. I wasnt superiorly happy with the pick of Pryz... but I realized his potential. Collier is butt, nothing short of it. So Basically the Rox traded away alot of potential, for a at best 3rd string center on our squad, and a lousy pick next year. In other words they addressed absolutely no needs for the season. No PF, No Center or backup center, no SF. Lousy draft day dealing.
I love the clippers now, think i might start a web site http://www.ClippersCity.com ------------------ Mango is the Smeg of Bizarro World
I've got the server Smeg! Orlando's going to feel silly trading Dooling, Strong and Maggette for a #25 pick. ------------------
If Orlando had wanted our pick, we could've traded the 4.5 exception, the pick they owe us, and an additional one for Maggette, Strong, and #10 (for Moiso). We could've had a draft night that gave us Maggette, Strong, Pryzbilla, Moiso, and either Carrawell, Brown, or Hightower. ------------------ The more lefties on your team, the better. Draft Moiso. Trade Moises. Trade or bench Kenny Thomas.
I doubt the Magic Clipper deal is done -- it was simply too lopsided. I would'nt be surprised to see a Mo Taylor, Odom, or Anderson in a Magic uni next season. ------------------
The Rockets are not done either. They HAVE to use the $4.5 million exception or they lose it. Look for a 3-way trade involving Orlando-Clips and Rockets. IMO. ------------------
since Collier is here i would consider Cato back on the trading block. Rudy wants to free as much cap room as he can for next offseason and Cato counts 6 million against the cap so if the Rockets-Orlando and Clippers are going to make a deal i have a feeling Cato will be involved. I'm still hoping somehow we can get Darius Miles.
Collier is a power forward, who can play center in spots. ------------------ The more lefties on your team, the better. Collier is Seven Foot and Left Handed. How can you go wrong? Trade or bench Kenny Thomas.
I would consider him a Center that can play Power Forward in spots. he's 7'0 feet, 250 pounds, and is WAY too slow to play power forward for more then a few minutes a game. He reminds me alot of Rik Smits.
