I was going to use J Moore. Can you tell me how much he charged for the unit and installation?

I am trying to compare prices for Rheem and Bradford White with the big box store brands... but i can't find prices for these two brands on the web. Anyone have suggestions on how I can procure this data?

The quote I got from Houston Water Heaters was around 900 installed. So I'm thinking the water heater itself is around 600-700...I think the guy said it was a Bradford White. But then considering you're not gonna be able to buy the unit by itself without paying them to install it...you're looking at several hundred dollars more for either of those brands, but it should last a good five years longer. Hell I read some of those GE and Kenmoore water heaters didn't even last a year before they developed a leak.

    J. Moore wanted $1212 for a 40G or 42G Rheem + $425 just to take the old one down from my attic.

I got a 40 gallon Bradford White M4-403S6FBN $865, complete from Aqueduct Plumbing in Webster.
I believe their website is aqueductplumbingcompany.com
but I can't get to it from work to double check.

I think the manufacturers do not give out prices to consumers. You have to call the plumbing companies and ask for their quote for whatever model you want.

Let me correct myself on one thing.

Aqueduct took the heater down from my attic and left it in my garage for me because I wanted to take it to a recycle place myself to get a rebate from the government.

If you want him to take it away, he'd charge $50.
