Sheesh, they have been coming back and winning a ton lately, and finally tonight they lost and the Stros inch closer to first place only 4 games back now. DD
If we can start September 2 or 3 games back then we have a really good shot at it. I think in our games with the Cards we can pick up 2 games. Ifr we fall back to 5 or 6 games out by the end of the month then it's pretty much over.
I think the Cardinals will start losing like they have been winning recently. Or is that wishful thinking?
I don't think it's wishful thinking. Matt Morris was injured in the game last night. If he's down for any extended period of time, the Stros have a chance. Besides, their luck is bound to run out soon. Haven't there been at least three blown saves against the cardinals in their present winning streak? I think the Williams has blown a couple against them and Mesa blew a save opp. last night. There's no way they can keep coming back from defecits like that. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part. I dunno.
How many times did the Cardinals play Pittsburgh during their win streak? The Astros are going to win the division again, you'll see. BRAVES SUCK!!
