Whoever plays the best to help them win a game on the road next. To win the clincher in L.A. is not going to be easy.
the MVP of the series has been the celtics bench, but it is obe player Iwould give it: 1. Rondo 2. Garnett 3. Pierce 4. Allen
The NBA will give it to Rondo, but honestly Kobe deserves MVP no matter which team wins. I HATE Kobe, but hell he is the most valuable player in this series very easily. I'd say Rondo is 2nd most valuable, so that's why I think NBA will give to him
is it possible for the losing team to get MVP? kobe deserves this no matter which team wins from here on. from the other side...can they share? eww.
Meh. Kobe was on fire the 3rd quarter but didnt do much in the 4th like a few other games in the playoffs, except this time he didnt have Gasol picking up his slack
Pierce is their MVP. Who gets the ball at the end of games, when the game is on the line? Pierce is the Truth. Rondo is a great player and the next closest valuable Celtic, but the best player on the team is the clutch ballhandler.
when jerry west did it, didnt the final game go into double ot? also i think he had a stretch of smthg ridiculous like 40, 50, 60 pts in 3 games and a triple double in the losing game. kobe's numbers pale in comparison. if he scores over 100 then yeah but i dont see it happening.
I wouldn't be shocked if Kobe won the MVP in a losing effort if the series goes to seven games. If the Celtics win it in six, there is no way Kobe is deserving of the MVP.
If the celtics win, MVP goes to Kevin Mchale and Danny Ainge, for consummating the garnett trade while the former was general manager of the timberwolves. If the lakers win, MVP goes to jerry west, former general manager of the grizzlies, and the man he recommended as his replacement , Chris wallace, for the gasol trade
rondo/kg rondo is the floor general and KG is the heart of that defense. i forget but throughout these playoffs, i remember seeing every team's superstar is - when KG is on the floor and very + when he isn't
Rondo. No doubt. He's been the most consistent and has made big plays throughout. His 13/7/7 feels more like 18/10/10.
Agreed. So many players have stepped up for the Celtics -- if any one of them goes off in the road win, that player will get the MVP. Honestly, it will probably be Rondo as long as he doesn't lay an egg in the next two games.
