Fisher is only getting older, but I do like this:

    Trade Artest for Mo Williams.

    Williams / Fisher
    Kobe / Brown
    Odom / McGrady
    Gasol / (2nd rounder)
    Bynum / Brad Miller

That really would Make Lakers vs. Rockets something to watch. It would be even more interesting if they traded Odom for Williams.

    Brooks > Williams
    Martin < Kobe
    Ariza > Artest
    Scola < Gasol
    Yao > Bynum

Both benches can score with McGrady, Fisher, Miller, and Brown for the Lakers and Chase, Jordan, Lowry, and Battier for the Rockets.

As a $20 million star player first option, he sucks.

As a $2 million backup in the NBA, if he accepts it and plays a Grant Hill type roll I would like him back.

    Don't understand all the hate.

They should sign McGrady and Shaq. Trade Odom for Mo Williams.

lol the hate on this man is amazing. if he is anywhere pain-free, he'll provide a spark off the bench for the lakers.

odom is more inconsistent than tmac playing on one knee.

wish him well next year. hopefully he's progressing with his workouts right now.

Between Tracy, Bynum and Odom, we can find out who looks the least interested in playing basketball.

Are you kidding me? T-Mac couldn't even get Adelman's partial read and react offense. Read and react is ALL the triangle is. Tracy's offensive game depends entirely too much on PnRs and isos to ever figure something like that out.

T-Mac actually gets Adelman's offense. It's just that he doesn't bother to move w/o the ball.

Ya mean the LA Lakers starting lineup will include:

    C-Bynum/Chandler
    F-Bosh/Odom
    F-McGrady/Artes
    G-Kobe/Brown
    G-Fisher/2010 Pick

I believe Bsoh and McGrady will end up in LA with Kobe...I also believe the Lakers wil trade Gasol to the Raports for Bosh, Bosh has already narrowed his list down to a couple of teams and the lakers being one of them. Also the raptors already said that they will only except a sign a trade for bosh if it included a big man and Gasol will be the perfect fit for them. I love The houston rockets im a huge fan but bosh to houston not happening more like bosh to LA for Gasol.

LA will give up Gasol,Artest and some cash consideration for Bosh thats all Toronto really wants, that being that turkuglu will be leaving Toronto after 1 year of disapointment of the org. or is it the org?> maybe he found out that bosh was leaving? who knows but dont be surprised if Gasol and Artest end up in toronto next year.

Be good for McGrady too, he can ride Kobe for the ring and he wouldn't even have to be the main man on the 2nd unit.

LA acquiring Tmac is like the Cavs acquiring Ben Wallace and the Rockets acquiring Derek Anderson.

Kobe and T-Mac on the same team, and on the court together will never work. Given that Mcgrady could get healthy again. Tracy would have to be able to move without the ball and hit shots to take pressure off of Kobe. Terrible fit.

Not to make comparisons to Boston here but someone like Ray Allen would be a great complement to a player like Kobe because they do not need the ball in their hands to be affective offensively.

I could see the Lakers going after a small forward that can shoot lights out in the offseason given they lose this series this year. Maybe a trade to bring in a guy like Danny Grainger from Indiana couldnt be out of consideration.

Ron Artest just isnt the answer to what they needed although he does cause fits for most wing players on defense it doesnt mean he should be relied on to play 40 minutes in the finals when he has to take pressure off of Kobe and Gasol offensively.

The point guard situation is a bit of a question too defensively but Derick Fisher is clutch means way more to that team then what his stats show.
