Didn't Gasol start talking about Garnett after Game 1 saying Garnett has clearly lost a step and he's looking for revenge.

Looks like Gasol should have kept his mouth shut.

Esp the dirty dirty play in '86

JW, if the Lakers lose the championship to Boston, is Artest one of the primarily reasons why they would've lost?

Damnnnn what a game. Every time the Lakers made a run, the Celtics had an answer. Every friggin time. Kobe's teammates really really let him down tonight

Oh well 2 more games left, its not over until its over

You do realize how gambling works, right?

You guessed correctly on 2 out of 4. But just on the winner.

Put $100 on each game and see if you come out ahead.

Swayed so they voted Celtics in 6 instead of 4, 5, or 7? Yeah, 6 sure is the best random number to choose. The fact is I also voted Celtics in 6 (due to their physical play), but I didn't take the time to choose the winners/losers. I am confident that I wouldn't have went with LA, LA, BOS, BOS, BOS, but even if I did, I'd get 3 out of 5 correct. Guess how many you got correct?

This thread was also made when the finals were about to begin, and the Celtics showed their worth against the Cavs and Magic, something that many did not see coming -- including myself. I have said many times that I thought the Celtics were done, but, once again, after those two series, I voted Celtics in 6.

Anyway, if you really want to just blindly feel special, just let us know. I won't bother to talk about reality if you do.

Bynum has been reported out for the remainder of the series.
Major swelling half-way through the 2nd, examined at half, trainers have decided to shut him down for good.

What a great game! Kobe and Pierce lighting it up. Got close at the end, but Boston pulled it out. I voted Celtics in 6, but I'll be really surprised if this doesn't go to 7. LA's going to be pissed come game 6.

    I got 3 / 5 right so far.

Forget the spread. Game two alone would have won you a lot if you bet on the Celtics line.

If this is true, it's a wrap. Kobe, Gasol, and either Odom or Artest would have to have GREAT games to win. They need 3, not 2. They can no longer rely on offensive rebounds or matching up with the Celtics length/physicality.

I'm curious to see (or hear) about this myself.

Damn sucks for Bynum. I don't like the Lakers but it's tough seeing him go out there and give it his all on that knee.

The way Bynum played the last two games, it's not that much a loss.

For the Lakers to come back, Lamar Odom has to play better. He's been horrible. Maybe starting him will get him going.

As i watch the series, no player has defined themselves as having a great series. Kobe for what its worth has been shooting poor again as usual in the finals. I just have to wonder how far the rockets couldve gone if they had that consistent 3rd guy back when tracy and yao were really good. I mean if they had 1 guy who could get 15 pts without needing those 2 to get them, they couold've did some damage.

Ron Artest is playing so bad he makes Ariza look like a superstar. It's not just his god-aweful offense. His D hasn't been very good either. Ron was definitely a much better player with us last year.

Gotta feel for the guy, even if people don't like the Lakers.

No 22-year old should have to go through the "What is my future going to be in 3 years? 5 years?" yet.
