Rossi would've done wonders for your team. What a shame.

No doubt, too bad he chose to play for Italia...and didn't make the squad.

Rossi would've done wonders for any team. Viva Juve.

I don't think Bradley or Clark did anything to secure their spots in the midfield today, both were pretty disappointing to me. I would not mind him taking either of their spots.

    I agree.. (another Juve fan? : D )

I can't believe Lippi chose Queragalli (sp?) and Panzzini over him, it just blows my mind.

I like Bradley's grit and creativity, he plays hard, sometimes loose but I like how he plays.

Now Clark, he was the one trailing Gerrard......nuff said.

Heske is a Battier like glue player. Not a lethal finisher or a superb dribbler, but makes the small plays like the pass to Gerrard for goal. England have too many scrappy players which leads to a discombobulated offense and not enough continuity/possession in the midfield with players like Beckham out. They've either got pace or scrappy defensive minded players. A small dribbler who can keep possession like Jack Wilshere, even though he's young and inexperienced, would make a huge difference in a squad like this.

Maybe swap Findley for Gomez and Clark for Holden. If we did we might need to go 4-3-3 and put dempsey behind altidore and gomez. I'm fairly confident about our next two games and maybe that's the time to experiment slightly. This might put us back defensively, but given certain performances today we wouldn't be missing much.

I think Heskey is highly overrated. They really should have started Crouch, who can hold possession while the offense sets up. Heskey can do this too, but he's not half the scoring threat Crouch is.

If Heskey's going to be in there with Wright Philips and Lennon, England will have trouble scoring IMO.

They need to try Gerrard as Rooney's partner. Him and Lampard just can't co-exist in midfield it seems.

England will be alright, they're just no the dominant team they are advertised to be. Had Owen been fit and on form, he may have been able to tip the scales in their favor. But Owen hasn't been himself for almost a decade now.

Mexico can barely tie a scrub South African team and the USA ties the superstar England team.

Once again, it just goes to show that USA > Mexico in soccer.

I'm a USA fan and hate Mexico too but this is a dumb statement.

I wish we had half the World class talent Mexico does.

I'd trade Donovan, Altidore and Dempsey for Giovanni in a minute.

They do choke and I LOL for that but They are decades ahead of us as a Futbol program

That's silly. USA has outplayed Mexico over the last 10 years.

Swoly, back me up, compadre.

Thats the dumbest things I've ever read. All three of those guys played tons of games in the EPL, while Giovani had to be loaned out to Ipswich in the championship and Galatassaray in Turkey.
