Great, great, great call on that one, Hydra!

    Sub,

I wouldn't count instrumentals/jazz stuff. I am looking more for tracks that have vocals that were sung. If I didn't use that, then I would definitely include stuff by Coltrane as well as some stuff by Orbital, Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, etc.

Train in Vain -- The Clash
Tomorrow Never Knows -- The Beatles
Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos -- Public Enemy
How Soon is Now? -- The Smiths
    Song 2 -- Blur
    Bad -- U2
Life During Wartime -- Talking Heads
    Space Oddity -- David Bowie

    Other personal favorites:

    Idioteque -- Radiohead
    E-Bow The Letter -- R.E.M.
    Wishlist -- Pearl Jam
From a Motel 6 -- Yo La Tengo (I didn't realize that was a pun...)
Stratford on Guy -- Liz Phair
    Burn, Don't Freeze -- Sleater-Kinney
    Screenwriter's Blues -- Soul Coughing
Another Morning Stoner -- ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead

    International section:

Svefn-g-englar -- Sigur Rós (Icelandic; "svefn-g-englum", a different declension, appears in the song)
We're In Yr Corner -- Cornershop (Punjabi, except for "IBM," "Coca-Cola", and "m****f******")

    Stuff other people mentioned:

Most of CBGMR's original list, along with his later additions*
    Most of DCkid's list

*I hate to call out my Mid-Tenn brethren, but "Drown" (0:34) and "Optimistic" (1:44) definitely don't qualify, and "Airbag" is borderline (3:46, but it's highly distorted).

Those are some great songs, Kimble.

I'm talking about the "Drown" by Smashing Pumpkins that was on the Singles Soundtrack and the greatest hits album, "Rotten Apples". The version on Singles is more than 6 minutes.
