If we give up Battier and Jefferies and if and only if(IFF) we get their number five pick, then I do it. I still think it's more probable and better to do a three way with them and toronto sending nocioni to TOR, S&T Bosh here, and Hedo to Sac.
Cousins is the obvious pick here (if the Wolves don't snatch him up), but Petrie - the Kings GM - has never been known to make the obvious choice. If Cousins' "character issues" scare Petrie away, the Kings are Morey's best chance to trade up. Expect to lose more than Battier, though, as we're not going to be the only ones bidding.

Great offensive rebound numbers. Not great shot blocker and not many defensive rebounds especially in light of his offensive rebounding number (maybe someone on his team is stealing defensive boards from him?).
He's not much of a defensive rebounder but he's a dangerous player when he's posting up. Personally I think if Pek was in the draft pool he would go late lottery - early 20s.

How much does Adam Morrison make? Is he a Free Agent? Morrison might just need a change of scenery. I think Rick Adelman and Morey can coach him up and develop him into a more than solid player. This probably won't be popular, but it is just a thought..... I'm also not saying I hope Houston trades Brooks, but if they did then maybe the Rockets could pick up TJ Ford somehow.

If we get that guy as part of a draft day trade with the Wolves, then we might also get their #4 pick in order to grab Morey's target if he falls that far. The only one who looks like he might fall to that spot, be worthy of the 4th pick, AND contribute to this team next season is DeMarcus Cousins. So we may see this lineup next season: (Jeffries, Hill and draft picks going Minny's way?) Yao / Pekovic Cousins / Scola Ariza / Battier Martin / Budinger Brooks / Lowry
