Labyrinth - Muppets = 80s Dead Poets Society Really agree with Coming to America. Movie's hilarious for those that adjusted to American lifestyles.
Depending on what country she's from, she might like movies relating to her country of origin. I'm just going to throw these out there... Both 80s. Both relating to "no spoken English."

I've seen most of these so I'm going to rate them. stripes: B, funny, classic Murry porky's: C, meh chariots of Fire: C, inspiring, but kinda boring in between Cannonball Run: A, one of the best comedies ever, Jackie Chan is in it Smokey & the bandit 2: C, meh time bandits: Did Not Watch tootsie: C++, didn't really get into it, but it's a very typical 80's comedy romance poltergeist: B, scared me as a kid best little whorehouse in texas: C+, funny at times, see tootsie 9 to 5: C-, the lead didn't fit the role Wrath of Kahn: A, best Star Trek movie Risky Business: B, Cruise before he became weird Ghostbusters: A, Who are you going to call? Romaning the Stone: B, Danny Devito was great SPlash: C+, slightly better than average comedy romance Top Gun: Corny but inspiring in a Rocky sense. Not really an 80's film but set in the 80's Donnie Darko is essential. That and Big Trouble In Little China, well that and Blade Runner and Time Bandits....ect!
