I found this on another forum I go to. There's no confirmation yet on whether or not this is from a new movie, but it definitely looks like it could be. I especially like the more realistic take they have on MK. Link Oh, and the clip on the page is NSFW for violence.
This look wicked cool except for the terribly Johnny Cage's fight scene. Weak choreograph on the fighting scenes. Scorpion look totally badass.
WOW.....That looks amazing... I think it just might be a movie... Reeko, I dont know if they would show a whole fight scene like that in a cut scene for a game .....where its about the fighting itself. But....It does seem like "Jacks" is talking to the person who would be playing the game.....If it was a game... I dont know....Maybe we get to control real people .
WTF that looks awesome!!!! Mortal Kombat was my all time favorite game! The only thing I don't like is Baraka previously being a surgeon but other than that it looks epic. At first I thought Scorpion was Kano.
That looked awesome for a MK movie! Unfortunately, I'd bet that it's just a live action trailer for a new game. E3 is next week, and they just might be rebooting the franchise, with this being a marketing campaign for the game. I'd love for it to be a movie though.
Same here. Clip looked great. Would be interested in how many other characters there would be. Movie won't be a huge blockbuster though, but could do well.
If it is a trailer for a movie, then it's going to be awesome. If it's a trailer for a game and they end up making it into the movie due to all of the positive feedback, it's going to suck.
Seems like reports are starting to come in that it is in fact a movie. Looks awesome! http://chud.com/articles/articles/23984/1/IS-THIS-VIDEO-FOR-THE-NEW-MORTAL-KOMBAT-MOVIE/Page1.html
3 of the ninjas, and a dead johnny cage?? Damn good momentum already. If that was a movie or not, they had guts addressing 2 of the weirder characters from the get go.
Jax is short for Jackson, which has always been his real name. Jacks was on the door because "on" had faded off. There's nothing wrong with what they did.
