LOL! WIlliams just got the ball stolen by a chinese guard! Williams' dunk at the end was a joke. Ming could have squashed him...Jay's lucky that Ming didn't want to humiliate him.
The ESPN idiots just proclaimed JWill as the first american to dunk on Yao. What a couple of idiots. Yao was trailing the play and never challanged it. 13 points 10 rebounds 4 blocks Not to bad. I am excited. We have a real low post player. Yao has skills. Imagine what kind of numbers he will be able to produce when he is on a team that knows how to get the ball across half court. Eddie and Yao are going to be awesome front court mates. Yao Ming...Rookie of the Year 2002-2003.
it is not an english word. it is a shanghainess. even people outside shanghai won't understand it. it sounds "Cai Nai", which of course, means "fu#$", pretty funny he said that in front of tv.
Yeah that "J Will dunk on Yao" was one of the most idiotic statements I have heard in a while. How could J Will have dunk on someone who was running behind him in a fastbreak? About the blocks, I think Ming had more than 4.
If you're still listening to the KNBR webcast, they're taking calls from people who were at the game. The first caller called Yao "weak" -- guess he should have had 12 blocks instead of 6 ... 3 of the first 4 callers have slammed Yao. Caller Number 4 says he'll be worse than Bradley. Anyway, they claim that they're going to interview some of the US players at some point. edit: no US players on the show after all. the calls evened out pretty quickly as more people called who were impressed with Yao, and a couple people slammed Caller #4.
lol ming got 6 blocks on the usa team. and i liked that turn around jumper he pulled off on antonio davis. its good to see different ethnic backgrounds joining the nba like hilario, nowvitski, and turkoglu. well, the usa team had their fun with that sorry ass china team, but if they dont put no defensive pressure on yugoslavia, you might see team usa get embarrassed.
I didn't actually see it. I think T Tolbert said something like that, so I included it in my post. Thanks for telling me what that means....maybe I'll use it... or not.
