Didn`t graduate university, but did go for a few years. Do you lie about having a degree or tell the truth?
I wouldn't lie about that, because that information can be easily verified. I would just phrase any question regarding education that by saying "Oh, I went to such and such university. I really enjoyed my time there studying xxxxx subject." Deflect the initial question, by talking about the college football team or ask about the interviewers college experience. Hopefully by that point, they will move on with the interview.
Never lie about anything that can be verified easily, this includes job history, anything dealing with university(such as major, GPA, graduate or not) etc.
Degrees awarded are usually public information, meaning they can be verified without you giving consent. I wouldn't lie about it.
You can lie about a lot of things. When it takes you 5 seconds to check not so much: http://registrar.utexas.edu/students/degrees/verify/
It's kind of sad that you even have to ask this question. EDIT: Even more sad is the 6 people who have currently voted that you should lie.
I love all the "Don't lie on THAT because THAT is easily caught". What about "Be honest and have confidence in yourself and the rest will work out."
