Artest "concedes" the penetration and then Pierce finds Bynum below the rim. Follow him, 2 superb steals, 10 bad defenses. Of course he's strong and can do things, but he's definitely overrated thanks to the 2 rescuers he has behind him. Put him in PHX, HOU, etc, and observe the difference in the statistics of his man.
He would be, but his shooting isn't there. And it is too bad he isn't taller. 4 or 5 inches taller + consistent shooting = MVP.
and they want to put kobe in the same convo as MJ? MJ averages like 33 points per game on 50%+ shooting with like an all-around stat-line v. ridiculous defenses. rondo is the MVP of this game. allen was huge in the first half, but rondo is just doing a little bit of everything throughout the 2nd half to hold down the fort. and i ask again: gasol has not attempted 1 single shot since he returned in the 4th.
I like Rondo, like him a lot, but before we annoint him realize that he is being guarded by Derek Fisher ......whose footspeed is gone.... Rondo is great, but I can't believe they are guarding him on the perimeter. DD
well that wasn't really a foul. he went straight up. even jvg said the same. and while the lakers have gotten the benefit of calls tonight, kobe's 4th and 5th fouls both weren't fouls so he hasn't personally benefitted much.
Yup...rolling..... Gotta give Perkins and Rondo props for hitting some of their FTs late. I still don't see Boston winning this thing though, unless KG and Pierce can get it together.
