I'm too tired to look. That's why I ask people like you who haven't been here from the start. By the way,I didn'y start posting untill after the change from .com to .net....well after. Thanks
Huh...say what? Are you talking about today's game? Today's game is not televised I didn't think...correct? It's just an exhibition game. For the real game, just check my sig. But first, can someone verify that the game today is NOT going to be televised. I just want to make sure that I don't have to drive all the way back home and set up my VCR. I hope the game will be archived somewhere so I can at least stream it later on.
Dang that sucks...I would think that Yao's first game would be of interest at least to some station in Houston. DD
The only possible way to watch the game seems to be through NBA.com TV. They televised a "less" important game of Canada vs. China. I'm sure if they have any senses at all, they would put this game on as well. btw NBA.com TV doesn't show the "true" schedule for what will be on, so the only way to see if it will be on is by actually sitting in front of your TV for a few hours.
I have NBA.com TV and it is my opinion that they will have live sports broadcasters in the New York City studio doing coverage of both the WNBA Conference finals Game One openers. I don't want to downplay their possible coverage but I would say that it is 99% likely that they will never cut into the USA & China game once during those 4-5 hours of commentary. (Approx. 6 pm-11 pm EST). But you never know, so it clearly would not hurt to watch those 5+ hours of basketball, unless you dislike the WNBA altogether.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle (I wish I were there again... summer vacation.) it's being broadcast on KNBR (690 AM). I'm going to see if I can pick it up on the net, after I've had 3 or 4 more cups of coffee. If anyone finds out it's broadcast on the net before I do, let us know... I'm in an extended fog right now. (more extended than usual, lol!) NBA.com TV is erratic at best. You might get a lot of the game, or 3 minutes spread across an hour and a half.
I think you'll find it at http://www.knbr.com/Warriors/index.asp ... just click at "listen here" at the sidebar ... well I am off to vote a few more times for Brooke ...
I'm not sure how exactly what they mean, but ESPN News said Sportscenter will show it LIVE. That's what they said, and they didn't say what time. (I guess the time of the game, duh.) I guess NBATV may show it. But I'd probably make sure to see if that radio works out.
They just said on ESPN that the game would be telecast LIVE at 10pm eastern time. on "ESPNnews", and I believe that they will cut away at 11pm and show highlights occasionally.
