Andersen needs to play with a defensive-minded 4 who can block shots. That guy wasn't on the roster last year. Was painful trying to watch him 'protect' the rim with Scola, Hayes, Landry... He looks like an NBA player to me, just a 10-12 spot on the roster guy who doesn't play a ton.
I don't think he's that horrible defender, simply has been outpowered as center and lacked NBA experience. If he makes the team for next year, he can help us a lot with a different frontcourt. He's not guilty for coming to a team with no centers and 0 defensive presence. Sad how people who just doesn't know him and all his career is already calling him scrub. He's not new in this stuff, deserves a little more respect.
I can't help it. He spends a lot of times with his hands in the air backing away from driving guards.
can we send this highlight video to every GM in the off-season, we could get Wade or bosh in a sign and trade with Andersen. honestly though he might be able to get a few minutes at 4, but he is a very ordinary defender.
