He has some good lyrics but his music sounds just like Kanye Wests...his voice is very close too. He needs to get his own style.
I heard the first single and it is not bad. Not to derail this thread but what do you all think of the new X album? He's my second favorite rapper all time after Pac and has been solid throughout his career. I like the new album although I feel he has so much more to offer. Dude is truly a tortured soul which is what makes him great I guess. The last 5 songs on there are real nice, wish he would focus on that side more than on his angry side.

same could be said about drake. I really can't tell the difference between drake/kanye, hence- they both suck.
Kanye sucks NOW, but back in the day, he has produced some good music. No denying, "Homecoming","Never let me down", "Jesus Walks"

L.A.S.E.R.S should be out soon....he's just putting the finishing touches on it. He's definitely a perfectionist. Some of the pre-released stuff though on its own is gold. Definitely loving the Hendrix sample on Fire....I'm Beamin was a hitter too..... As for Ye, I don't really like Power. It's more recent Ye, then classic. I want him to return back to the old school Kanye who brought hip hop flavor back with Through the Wire, and his first 2-3 albums, before the 808s & Heartbreaks fiasco that led to the weird pop icon Lady Gaga/Kanye crossover.
