I thought this is a good paper about the Rockets written by Chris Reina from Real/GM.

    About our players:
Scola, Martin and Brooks all had PERs between 16.0 and 17.2, which is about the average for a third option on a good team. Most All-Stars have a PER of at least 20.0 and the MVP candidates that are necessary to get deep into the playoffs have PERs in the 25.0 range.

If Morey thinks PERs is so important, this could be one of the reasons for Morey to go for Bosh.

    Excellent writeup.

There were a few things in there that I didn't completely agree with (besides the fact that it's Andersen, for chrissakes!), but he was spot on with Ariza, the PG duo, and Morey's likely approach to the draft.

I also liked the point he made that we're definitely not your average ~.500 team!
