You are based on a false premise，Yao doesn't have a good health condition, i think the biggest advantage of him is the commercial value in China sport market.
Right now I'd give Gasol the edge since he's more durable and more versatile. But I think he's become a bit overrated with all the success he's enjoyed after teaming up with Kobe. Gasol never won one single playoff game as the top dog in Memphis.
